Do I hire/buy items from the Beautifully Boudoir?

You do have the the option of purchasing items from our online boutique or in store. You can also hire a corset on the day of your session, but essentially you bring your own items for your BB session.

How much is corset hire?

£35 for all corsets

Do I need to come in prior to my booking or earlier on the day to organise corset hire?

No, this is all organised for you during your consultation.

What do I need to Bring?

Please bring a selection of lingerie items and accessories. The best advice is to bring items you are comfortable being photographed in – even the most simple lingerie set can look amazing, remember we are photographing you, not your lingerie! The most common items are bra, brief and suspender belt sets, corsets, frilly knickers, shoes stockings & jewellery. If this is a gift for a partner why not bring along a shirt or ties or something else to personalise the session. Visit our gallery for inspiration

What do you have in the way of props?

We have a selection of props for you to use such as a set of genuine burlesque fans, top hats, canes, bridal veil, feather boas and various fabrics for semi nude images.

How long does it take?

Sessions vary with different amounts of studio time. From arriving to leaving you can expect to be that studio for anything from 2 to 3 hours depending on the session you have booked.

Can I bring a friend/partner for moral support?

Of course! We do not have a large waiting area so please limit the support to one person! Your friend/partner can keep you company in your hair & make up session but during your photo session it will just be yourself and the photographer in the studio. Your friend/partner is more than welcome to wait in reception for your session to finish. You can bring your friend/partner to your viewing session to help you choose your favourite images.

How soon as can I see my images?

As soon as the next day, depending on availability.

Do I view my images on the same day?

Not normally, but you can request this option at the time of your booking and you will be offered an appointment that will include same day viewing. This will add an hour on to your time at the studio.

Do you air brush all the pictures?

During your viewing session your photographer will show you an example of general before and after images and will also demonstrate digital re-touching on your images. This is your opportunity to tell the photographer the level of re-touching you would like and make any specific requests.

When do I receive my chosen images?

Turn around time varies depending on the time of year. Please allow 4 to 5 weeks, or if you need them in a hurry you can fast track you order and have them ready for your chosen date, this is a small cost for this service.

I need them for Valentines Day will there be enough time?

As long as you request this at your time of booking AND have placed your order before 31st January for prints,  albums and CD’s, Frames, canvas and art box orders. Out with this date you may be able to fast track you order - please enquire for specific dates.

Do I collect or are they posted?

You will collect your images from the studio or postage/courier can be arranged, there is small cost for this service.
